Student Activities

We have conducted all India Students Chef Competition for consecutive two years. Semifinals round in 2001-02 and complete competition in 2002-03 with a participation of around 20 Institute of hotel management from all over India. Participated in all food festivals organized by Department of Tourism Govt. of M.P. and at Pragati Maidan New Delhi organized by Ministry of Tourism representing Institutes of Hotel Management as well as in Ahar Festival at Pragati Maidan organized by the Culinary Forum of India-Institute organizes various cultural programs and sports events and also participates in inter collegiate quiz competitions, debates and other competitions organized by social organizations of Madhya Pradesh winning various Trophies and Cash Awards. Institute also actively participates in the promotion of  Indian Cultural Heritage through spic macay Bhopal chapter. The department of forest Govt. of Madhya Pradesh in co-operations with the Institute organizes various programs for promotion of ECO-TOURISM and students our Institute get the opportunity to study and on the research ecology and its impact of Tourism in the reserved forests of Madhya Pradesh like Bandhav Garh, Kanha and Rata Pani Tiger reserve. The Institute boasts of possessing Faculties with International and National Exposure with adequate professionals and academic qualification. They are a blend of young an Experienced lot with distinction in Interpersonal skills. They believe in work culture & Human Resource building. All the faculties are trained in Direct Trainers Skills & Design of Training under the National calendar of DOPT. The Institute possesses three jewels of National Resource under Department of Personnel and Training. The faculty is exposed to the latest trends in the Industry though periodic Training Program organized by National Council for Hotel Management, Ministry of Tourism and federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India.

Conducted various cuisine workshops for National Coucil for Hotel Management. 

A full  fledge Auditorium with a seating capacity for 440, fully furnished with stage wet up, Green Room and toilet for conducting Seminars, Conferences and Workshops. 

Other Activities :- 

Institute often undertake outdoor catering viz. VVIP catering, Government functions & other food festival and fares.  

Institute also organizes Food Festivals, Students Chef Competitions etc on an yearly basis. 

Institute organizes Theme Rotas on occasions like Pongal, Holi, Baisakhi, Rakhi, Independence Day, Onam, Eid Ul fitar, Ganesh Utsav, Durga Utsav, Diwali & Christmas.

Institute organizes Sports week every year in January and on this occasion various indoor & outdoor games are organized. Almost all the students participate in the
